The Pentax MX is a small, fully mechanical film camera. Batteries are only needed to power the light meter. The MX has a manual exposure mode that’s easy to shoot with and is a satisfying way to learn the basics of photography.

  • Camera has been serviced (CLA’d) and is in excellent working order.
  • Body is in great condition with some minor cosmetic wear and brassing, mainly on the baseplate.
  • Viewfinder is clear with minimal dust. There are some small marks to the focus screen, which doesn’t affect visibility much in use. The focus screen on the MX can easily be swapped if you find another.
  • Light meter is working and accurate.
  • The 50mm f/1.7 lens is clean and works well.
  • Light seals have been replaced.
  • Comes with batteries and a lens cap.
