Kilfitt Makro Kilar D 40mm 4cm f/2.8 Vintage Lens – M42 Mount
Original price was: $500.$400Current price is: $400.
The Kilfitt Makro Kilar D 4cm f/2.8 is a beautiful 1:1 macro vintage lens.
- Body is in excellent condition with some wear to the chrome on the aperture ring.
- Focus is smooth and aperture rings work well.
- Glass is clean with no fungus or haze and minor dust. The glass has been cleaned, though there is some etching to the rear coating edges from fungus removal (see torch light photo).
- Blades are clean and oil free.
- Comes with front & rear lens caps.
- The lens has been tested working on the Edixa Reflex M42 body it came with. I tested on a Pentax Spotmatic, but the mirror hits the rear lens surround at infinity focus, which I’m assuming is normal for this lens, and it would be best used for digital via an adapter.
See sample photos shot using a Fuji XT4.
